Continuing a relationship with the school that began in 2012 as project managers for a new $12.5m regeneration building, our most recent project is the design, documentation and delivery of a new double-court sports stadium including change rooms, canteen, weights rooms and teaching spaces as well as retractable seating for 750 people. The facility is used by community sporting groups as well as the local Flying fruit Fly Circus troupe.
As part of the same project we undertook the design, documentation and delivery for the refurbishment of the existing 1970’s hall into a flexible performing arts space. This space included a new, enlarged foyer and a multi-use performance space able to accommodate a variety of functions including dance groups, live theatre, conferences and small instrumental groups. A large emphasis in the brief was placed on the ability of these facilities to be used by the wider community, as well as by the school community itself.
