Client Representative: Mornington Peninsula Shire Council
Established by the then Minister for Planning, the Design Review Panel was established to advise the Mornington Peninsular Shire Council on Planning Approvals as part of the Cape Schanck precinct development. The development comprises a substantial residential development and two golf complexes, the National Golf Club and the RACV resort. Focussing on maintaining the integrity of the prescribed design guidelines, as well as ensuring that the environmental sensitivity of indigenous landscape is respected, the DRP has achieved a long-term solution that is both commercially successful and upholds the design standards established for the precinct.
Through our contribution to the DRP, MPSC has utilised our experience and expertise for more contentious planning reviews including reviewing applications for both parts of the new Martha Cove development and the Sorrento retail area.
