The present owners had renovated this Victorian house about 25 years earlier. They now wanted a strong ‘back drop’ for their art collection, hence the dark floors, white walls and grey colour scheme were introduced. The new kitchen was to be a clean, strong element within this dark and broody interior. Little decoration was used in order to maximise the impact of the art.
